New season starting after busy summer

Two big choral weeks in Abbey Dore and Italy together with a wonderful project with the BBC Singers filled a big summer period. Now the new season kicks off with more workshops, courses and rehearsals and the start of the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire term.

The English Choral Experience Course at Abbey Dore in July was possibly the best of all twelve courses held there. Graet repertoire inckuding Dyson's beautiful Hiersualem and Thomas Armstrong's never performed 'A Passer By'. This was followed by a Kenneth Leighton project with the BBC SIngers cuilminating in a recording in St Jude's church, Golders Green. Straight after this Paul travelled to Italy for a course near Perugia in Umbria. After a short holiday things start up again with a masterclass in Oxford, a workshop at Abbey Dore, an ECE Camerata weekend at Durham Castle, workshop in Petersfield on Dyson's The Canterbury Pilgrims and the annual weekend at Dreischor in the Netherlands. This runs alongside the start oif the new academic year at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.
