New publications by Boosey & Hawkes

Another work has been added to the growing list of works being published by Boosey & Hawkes

'Glory be to God for Dappled Things', the wonderful poem called 'Pied Beauty' by Gerard Manley Hopkins has been published by Boosey & Hawkes. This adds to the settings of 'Drop, drop slow tears' and 'This Child of God' which have already been released. 'Pied Beauty' was commissioned by Kingston Parish Church for the Queen's golden jubilee in 2002 and was first performed on 2 June that year with the choir of the church being joined by Kingston Choral Society.

It is a lively and exciting setting which should appeal widely to choirs everywhere. There is a recording made by Selwyn College, Cambridge.
